What each appointment costs
The Chepstow Hearing Clinic publishes its prices in full. Hearing tests and hearing aid consultations are free. Ear wax removal costs up to £65 for both ears. Payment is taken on the day by card or cash.

Is the hearing test really free?
Yes. The full 60 to 90 minute hearing test is free and carries no obligation to buy anything.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Usually within the week for a hearing test, and often same-day for ear wax removal.
Can I book by phone instead of online?
Yes, call 01291 332211 and we will find you a time, usually in under a minute.
What happens if I need to cancel or change my appointment?
Just call or email us and we will rearrange it, free of charge, for whatever suits you next.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Just yourself. If you wear hearing aids already, bring them along with any paperwork you have. There is nothing to prepare and no fasting or forms beforehand.
Can someone come with me to my appointment?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a partner, friend or family member. Many people find it helpful to have a second pair of ears for the results.
What is your cancellation policy?
We just ask for as much notice as you can give, ideally 24 hours, so we can offer the slot to someone else. There's no charge for cancelling or rescheduling.
Do you charge for a missed appointment?
No, we don't charge missed-appointment fees. If your plans change, just let us know and we'll happily rebook you.
