Cinderford sits on the eastern side of the Forest of Dean, close to the Dean Heritage Centre and Littledean. Patients come to us from the town and the villages around it: Drybrook, Littledean, Mitcheldean, Ruardean, Lydbrook, Steam Mills and Nailbridge.
At the moment the nearest independent clinic with its own consulting rooms is ours in Chepstow. That is changing. The Hearing Clinic Group plans to open in the Forest of Dean, bringing the same free hearing tests, wax removal and hearing aid advice closer to home. Until then, Cinderford patients are welcome in Chepstow or at home.

How do I get from Cinderford to Chepstow?
Take the A4151 to the A48 near Newnham, then follow the A48 south-west through Lydney to Chepstow. About 20 miles and 35 to 40 minutes. There is free parking outside the clinic.

All major brands, including ReSound, Starkey, Oticon, Phonak, Bernafon and Signia, chosen independently to suit your hearing, with lifetime aftercare included.
Where is the clinic and when is it open?
School Hill Centre, Chepstow, NP16 5PH, on the ground floor next to Screwfix. Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 3pm.
Is the B4228 a good road to drive from Cinderford?
Yes, it’s a well-maintained road through St Briavels and Tidenham, about 30 minutes to Chepstow. It can be slower in winter weather, so allow extra time.
Will I need to switch clinics when the Forest of Dean clinic opens?
No. Your records and any hearing aids stay with The Hearing Clinic Group, so you can simply choose whichever clinic is more convenient once it opens.
