How far is it from the Forest of Dean to Chepstow?

• Lydney: around 25 minutes via the A48
• St Briavels: around 20 minutes
• Coleford: around 30 minutes via the B4228
• Cinderford: around 35 to 40 minutes via the A4151 and A48
• Mitcheldean: around 40 minutes

The clinic is at School Hill Centre, Chepstow NP16 5PH, with free parking directly outside.

What does the appointment involve?

The clinician first examines the ears with a video otoscope, a small camera that shows the ear canal on screen. Based on the findings, the clinician recommends microsuction or warm water irrigation. Most appointments take 20 to 30 minutes.

Preparing before you travel

Use olive oil drops for three to five days before the appointment. Softened wax is more likely to be removed in a single visit, which avoids a return journey. Earol olive oil spray is available at the clinic for £5.
